you’re not alone, anon. There are a lot of reasons to not like HP, while I also agree there are a lot of reasons to like HP. I just. I read them from start to finish, was really into them through books 1 - 4, but then it felt like while I matured they didn’t? (I’m not cool with JKR’s deaths. The Sirius I understood and applauded because the book needed it, Harry needed it, but a lot of the others one just felt like cop outs to get the readers emotions going and if you can’t do that with words alone than sorry to say your story is not working)

and yes you’re not alone. The HP fandom can be particularly vicious so I think must people just aren’t will to openly state they’re HP’s biggest fans.
